A message from Dr. Montgomery
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!
Choosing a surgeon is an important personal decision, and I believe it is helpful for you to know and trust the person who will be with you through this process.
Here’s a little about who I am and what drives me, both inside and outside the operating room:
I am a Christian, a husband, a father of three, and an orthopaedic surgeon. I absolutely love every one of those aspects of my life and the connections to other people that each bring. I love surgery because it is my way of directly helping people live better lives and I care deeply about doing that to the best of my abilities. I enjoy learning new techniques and staying up to date on the best and most current treatment options.
Prior to my career in medicine I worked as a licensed auto mechanic, I enjoyed the car scene and getting things back on the road, I still find it a lot fun to work on my own projects. Automotives was a great career, yet I felt I could help people with greater challenges. Through a bit of a story I won’t dive into here, I ended up more or less keeping my tool box and now I change suspension on people instead of cars!
Keep reading to learn more about my practice and be sure to check out the patient education section, especially if you are considering surgery as a solution to your hip or knee pain!
